Question: Do you pay mystery guests?
Generally speaking, mystery guests are volunteers
This is because we want them to have as normal a customer experience as possible and provide us with a balanced report without feeling that it is paid work.
However, it is normal practice to reimburse them for the cost of a typical guest experience. 'Typical' for quick service generally means for one person, while most other experiences are based on 2 people.
We do sometimes pay an additional fee. This can be the case where the value of a typical experience is very low or where we need to incentivize completion before a tight deadline.
