Audit feature: question formatting

Audit feature: question formatting

We create each audit questionnaire bespoke for every client, and will typically include a range of question types to best reflect the purpose of the programme and drive actionable feedback.

Options for question scoring

We will typically include a range of scoring options in your operational audit as standard. If you would like to set up something specific, the following choices can be made for each question:

- Whether or not it has a score
- The weighting (more important questions can carry a higher weighting)
- A score scale (this is commonly used on rating questions)
- Whether to ignore the score for a given question when calculating the overall visit score (this might be used where there are measures that are outside of the control of the team on duty)
- Whether the question contributes to a bonus calculation

Comment options:

We will typically include a range of comment options in your operational audit as standard. If you would like to set up something specific, you can chose from the following comment options for each question:

- Force the assessor to provide a comment
- Make comments optional
- Block comments
- Set a minimum word count
- Set a maximum word count
- Require the comment to be a whole number
- Require the comment to be a number but recognise decimal points
- Pre-complete some comments to prompt the assessor

Getting started

A wide range of question types are included as standard on all operational audit questionnaires (where appropriate) - please speak to your HGEM account manager if you have any further questions about the format of your questions.
